This week we explored dinosaurs! Our dramatic play was Doctor’s Office so we were able to dive deeper into learning and understanding new concepts about our bodies for another week! The children loved working as the receptionist and opening band-aids to put them on their friends’ injuries. In our block area the children developed their socio-dramatic play skills while taking on the role of different dinosaurs in our dinosaur habitat. This week we also planted milkweed seeds to help our butterfly friends. We went out to the natural wetlands and watched the seeds float away in the March wind. The children loved exploring the different textures that rollers and sponges make when you use them to paint! We were able to expand their thinking through a sensorial and creative experience. We had so much fun and cannot wait to see what is in store next week!
